Pet fiber is a wonderful fiber. It is usually quite fine and as long it is at least 2 inches in length, we can make a spectacular yarn. It is warm and soft and the yarn tends to get quite fuzzy in a garment. Generally, a blend of at least 20% wool is desired to keep the yarn together due to the slippery nature of the down. And no, it doesn't smell like your wet pet!
